What are the resin tanks made of?
A glass reinforced plastic from the polystyrene family. Injection moulded in two halves and heat welded together.
The material has passed the Water Research Advisory Scheme test for contact with potable water.
It is the same material as used in the pipes used to carry the water from the reservoir to your home. The construction and specification follows the DIN standard.
To date, 2008, we have manufactured over 200,000 of the most reliable softening tanks in the world.
The distribution system is moulded into the tanks to remove the need for a riser tube in the middle.
